I’ve had a niggling abductor problem for 2 weeks. I’ve missed last two Park Runs as I can’t trust myself there (I’m too competitive🙄) so have been running at home but slowed down to a jog & avoided pushing up hills.
I also ride my horse 3 times a week, last night really aggravated it. It’s now a constant pain, probably 3 out of 10 - so not severe but seemingly not going away☹️
I’ve ignored it for a couple of weeks, eased off the running but still it’s got progressively worse☹️ Does anyone have experience of groin strains? I fear I have to stop running & riding for a few days. I assume that’s what the advice would be?☹️

We're obviously not able to give medical advice - but it does sound like you need to rest it. Can you make an appointment to see your GP or (if money allows) a good Sports Physio, who can diagnose and prescribe some good rehab?
It's so frustrating to be out injured but hopefully taking some time out now will prevent it getting worse. Fingers crossed you are back out running (and in the saddle) soon.🤞🙂
