Week 8 Run 3 V2

Eventually I got myself out the door and running.

Walked to the park and started running from there. I ran the same route as before alongside the canal before finishing with a couple of laps around the park.

Including the warm up walk, but not the walk at the end, I covered 5.7k, the same as my last run.

I now head into the final three runs. I hope to run at least two of them while I am away next week in Scotland.

Happy runnings

Great you've now completed wk8 and just 3 runs to complete the program. Good luck😊👍

Where are you visiting in Scotland

A few days in Dumfrieshire with friends before visiting family in my home county of Ayrshire where I hope to do the final run beside the sea!

I know Dumfries and Galloway quite well now, my son lives in Moffat. Until he moved there for work, it was only somewhere I'd have driven through on the way to the highlands. My loss. The Moffat hills are wonderful for walking and the Solway coast was a revelation. We've spent time in the Galloway forest and holidayed in Port Patrick. Lovely scenery and nobody there!

Good luck with the running, don't get blown away. Looking forward to the graduation post.

Great run! You ran about double the distance I did. Good luck with W9 - let’s do this 👍😁

I am trying really hard to ignore distance and pace, though it's quite difficult. Focusing on completing each run and listening to my body when it comes to speed and distance.
