Hmm! Not sure what happening here, I found that quite hard. Went out positively but felt quite hard all the way round. Is this a bad day or is this running just not for me? One day it seems to be I could go on and on and other days each part is really hard, will I get to the addictive bit?

Some runs are like that... it could be any number of reasons... a poor night's sleep...maybe hydration levels are low, something on your mind... or simply a little bug in your system.
Many folk get this feeling sometime... concrete legs, running through treacle etc etc...but you did the run... well done!
Addiction may or may not come...it may just be that running is part of your life and a art which you enjoy... and that is the main thing.. enjoyment
I love my running... a lot, I write about all of my runs ( my rambles) , but it is just part of my larger life.... yes I feel amazing for it... yes I am a much nicer person because of it... yes I run at least three times a week...and when I am on the IC, I miss it...but I don't call it an addiction ... just a wonderful wonderful hobby
I found that run really hard too! I’ve just done w6 r3 and it defo was a challenging week. Keep with it though; you can get through it! 🙂
Congratulations on your longest workout to date.
Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.
This run is notorious for being difficult after W5. It’s behind you now, so you should be fine with the rest of the week 👍😁
