I just finished w6r1 and I thought it would be easy after running for 20 mins in the last run.

I was wrong!! It was really hard. I’m exhausted. 😞

Maybe you were going too quick. You need to be really slow. Buy yourself time and save puff 😀

You did it though so big up to you πŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸ˜ƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Rest up now πŸ˜ƒ

Think I was trying to do bigger strides thinking I was a super athlete all of a sudden 🀣

Small steps. Don’t stride out you’ll over do things. One of the tips from whomever your podcaster is will tell you to β€œkeep all your running under your hips”

That run has caught many people out... it looks easier than it is and so we tend to speed up a little. Well done completing it.

Missed out run 2 of week six as was trying to catch up with the group and went straight to the 25 minute run. It was fantastic! Set off at a very steady (slow) pace and by the end was picking up pace and felt like I could continue. (i didn't) Looking forward to running tonite.

Week 6 catches a lot of people out. Slow and steady wins the race

Ceri1969 your so right. Now on week 7 and run 1 was great. A steady pace is the way to go.

Just done my w6r1 and like you I thought it was going to be easier but it was the hardest to date for me.

I may have tired myself out in the first 5 minute run, telling myself I shouldn't run as slow as I did for my 20min run if this is so much shorter.

For run 2 this week I'll go slower. I don't want to demotivate myself.
