I finished W5R3 two days ago and tonight I went running with a running club and ran 45m nonstop💪. I am so amazed. It is so much easier running outdoors and with a group ☺️. Am really happy 👏
Am amazed: I finished W5R3 two days ago and... - Couch to 5K
Am amazed
That's great. Sounds a good idea. 45 minutes WOW! 🤗🏃♀️
That is one helluva jump from twenty minutes to forty five...............totally exceeding the 10% rule that we and most of the running world recommends for all runners to stick with at all times when increasing duration.
Take care.
That’s interesting. I was finding the increases fine until very recently when yes the jumps are more than 10%.
I can do it - stamina is fine - but I’m getting more niggles and as I’m running with a bit less cartilage in one knee I’m very conscious of pains as they arise. I have decided to do week 7 with two rest days between each. And I may even go back to a combination of w5 r3 and w6 r1&2, at least until I lose more weight
Sounds good, you sound really motivated and very sensible, I will take note. Thank you
Do take care Moosey, the C25k plan is designed to take you to running 30 minutes without incurring injury. It’s easy to get carried away when running with others. Just like parkrun.
Well done. I'm not sure whether I'm a parkrun socialite or a hell is other people kind of runner yet.
Well done 👍so glad you enjoyed it but please be cautious. This plan builds us up slowly for a reason. Lots think that the jump in times are too big already 🙃
You’ve proved you can do it 💪🏃🏻♀️ So complete the program,it should be a breeze now, and plan your next goal 👍 you’ll be doing marathons by the end of the year at this rate! 👍🏃🏻♀️💪
Hahaha I don't think so☺️ and I will be more careful but I was on a roll and just kept going .... Thanks 😁
Sorry posted in the wrong place
Know what you mean about just keeping going 😊 I’ve been tempted myself 🏃🏻♀️💪 just wouldn’t want you to get injured and not be able to get out there😉
