Amazed....!!

I completed week 7 run 1 last night. After amazing myself by running for 25 mins last week (on my second attempt I should add!) I though it might be a fluke..... But then I did it again last night. I just can't believe that less than 7 weeks ago the thought of running for 2 mins petrified me. If anybody is wondering if they should do it wonder no more........ DO IT!!

Thank you, you've given me reason to keep going, I'm still on week 1 but running for 2 whole minutes scares the hell out of me lol

Keep on with it, I gave up the first time I did it but so glad I kept up with it this time. You will get there. Reading things like this motivated me too. I remember almost giving up when I heard I had to run for 8 mins!! Have now signed up for a 10k for November, I know I can do it!! Good luck xxx

Don't be scared. The programme is so clever; it knows what we are capable of, even when we don't know ourselves. I ran week 7, run 1 this morning. Yes it was tough, but Laura said I was ready for it. It's almost like being back in school and obeying the rules! Funnily enough, although I run on my own, knowing that there are thousands of people out there just like me, doing their run, spurs me on and encourages me. Happ y running :) x

I know, it's sooooo amazing that so many of us have come or will come such a long way in a relatively short period of time.....it's brilliant. Keep up the good work and happy running.

I did Week 7 Run 1 last night, too and found it easy. In fact, since I learned the correct breathing technique, I have found it really helps. Up to now I've been doing treadmill running, adding some incline to it. However, I'm going to take Laura's suggestion and throw in some outdoor running beginning tomorrow. I'm learning to love the run I have even though it's a slow run. :)
