I graduated many months ago and had got some great running and training sessions. Unfortunately due to my lazyitis, back in October, I graduated back to the couch.
I’d like to go back to those good days of four months ago but I’m not sure how far to run and for how long. Thus considering my lazy affliction and advancing years, do any of you lovely runners think I should start again from week 1?

There was a runner here on C25K over a year ago whose username was 5K2Couch, I think he lived up to his username as I have not heard anything from him for over a year, I hope you don't do that, lazyitis is not a thing I would want you to have, as you have been off running for more than 4 months it would be better to restart at week 1, however, give yourself a little run and if you feel good, restart at week 3. 😊 🏃🏾
I'd start back at week 1. The problem with "doing your own thing", is that it can very quickly descend into doing the least. I restarted June last year and went back to week 1. About a year and half before that I'd sort of restarted, but ending up just messing about making it up as I went along, then dwindled back off to nothing.
At least going back to week 1, you get a structured route to 30 mins of running.
Looking back on your previous post I had replied to you and your daughter completing the great north run . So I'm sure you're probably fitter than you think.
Why not just go out for a run and see what you can manage and take it from there. Good luck 😊😊
Just a little update. I decided to go for a mixture of suggestions and started at week 2. Breathing really good and muscles are nicely warmed up. Think I’ll continue from there now until the old kankles strengthen. Thanks for your helpful responses. 😀
