Week 3 Run 1 and 2

Well what can I say. I found this week easier but harder in a way. I know that makes no sense! Ha!

I find it easier running in less intervals but my god that last 3 minutes just about kill me 🥵🥵🥵

I've also had to take longer breaks than one day in between runs due to work (I work nights and days 12 hours) and worry that this will affect the long term goal but to be honest i haven't found it makes a difference to my stamina.

Anyway, thank you everyone. You keep me going. We can do this!!

I am just behind you in my journey just did w3r1 this morning. Have the same problem with work getting in the way only work days but sometimes very long days and too dangerous to go running in the dark 😕 we just have to do what we can and we will get there!

Exactly! I don't honestly think it makes that much of a difference. As long as we keep enthusiastic about it we will be grand!

And well done you! This is not easy but we are smashing it 👏👏👏

Well done. Don't worry about extra days off between runs, life happens and we do what we can, when we're able to. There's no time limit on completing this, so just run when you can and progress at your own pace. That graduate's badge will still be waiting for you whenever you cross the line.

You can def do this Hooper1980 ...and some runs are just blummin hard!! But loads of things can affect a run and working 12 hr shifts is def going to be one of them...I don’t know how you do it so kudos to you for that...keep going, you’re doing brilliantly

Well done, you did it so it’s all good. If you find yourself struggling just try to slow down a little bit 👍😁

I did W3R1 this morning as well. I surprised myself - I really didn't think I could do it but I did. In fact, I felt that I could have run further after the last 3 minute section but I did as I was told and slowed down to a brisk walk! I expected to be really out of breath but I wasn't so my stamina must be improving. I actually did this on the back of a two day break - there was no way I was running in the storm on Sunday!! At the moment I am not working so I have the time to go out and run when I want but whenever and whatever you can do all adds up and you will get there in the end :-)
