Thank you everyone for advice this morning about my first run. I was feeling really deflated and was considering giving up.
Tonight I redid day one and I jogged so slowly I’m not sure it can be called jogging but I did it. I found also that my brisk 90 second walk was far more brisk than it was in my last attempt on Friday. I guess because I hadn’t completely puffed myself out during the jog.
Next issue to work on is the pain in legs and ankles during the jog so hoping I just get used to it and that stops feeling so bad.
So difference between Friday and today;
Jogged the full 60 seconds.
Walked quicker during the 90 second rest.
Completed the full run.
Did not get out of breath.
Did not feel like wanting to die or quit.

That’s great and just getting started is an achievement! Different aches & pains seem to spring up for a bit and then go so hopefully it’s just your body getting used to it!
Well done. That’s the best thing I learned from this forum, go slow and then slow down some more. It’s about doing the time. Well done again and roll on day 2!
