Well .... that wasn't bad at all. If anyone else is about to do W3R1 and is dreading it, don't! It's over before you know it! Sorry to state the obvious .... but this thing really works! 🙄😁👏👌

I'll be interested to hear how you go. I'll bet you are as surprised as me that it's over so fast!

Loved it! Even in the dark and snow!! Worked out why my first run is really tough. It’s a slight incline. I just lowered the pace to get through it and the rest of the session wasn’t so bad. Even ran a bit further afterwards.

That is AWESOME! You must feel great.

If I can offer you any advice after first attempting C25k back in late November and overdoing it ..... it would be don't do any extra! Follow the program to the letter. I thought I was coping with missing rest days in between and I realised my mistake too late and ended up injured for weeks. I'm sure you won't do anything crazy like that! Run 2 next!👏👍

Thanks for the advice. I won’t add anything extra tomorrow (or Thursday).

Great going.

You're absolutely right though, week 1 is the hardest week of the program.

There are other weeks where you will need to use some will power to get through, but that's all about mind over body. The body can do it, but the mind struggles. Week 1, its entirely the other way around!

Happy running

Mig

Thanks Mig .... weeks 1 & 2 the sweat was pouring off me. But today almost seemed like an anticlimax. But I'm trusting the program and doing it to the letter. That's the beauty of it. No need to think about it. Just do it. 😁👍
