I jumped over to the Strength and Flex forum today! Try it!

Well my w5r3 run had no chance of happening today thanks to Storm Ciara - numerous trees down, a collapsed brick garden wall, several fence panels in various neighbours' gardens..... 💨 🍂🌬🍃🌧. I'm going to have fun clearing up tomorrow morning..... ☹️🙄

So, after reading Oldfloss ' "Off the Couch" post and her recommendation to try out the Strength and Flex forum, I jumped on over and found plenty to keep me busy. I'm all signed up to ju-ju- 's fun Plankety Plankathon and roseabi 's link to Adrienne's wonderful February Yoga plan. It was a wonderful way to spend a stormy afternoon!

They are very friendly over there, go take a look!

Yay I’m so glad you found all the fun going on there, I’m so glad you’ve signed up for the Plankety Plankethon.... and I hope the devastation isn’t too bad tomorrow in the garden 💨

I'm having to take the dog out in the garden on her lead so she doesn't go visiting all the neighbours through all the intriguing openings that have suddenly appeared!!

She's very nosey and very sociable and would probably get into terrible mischief if left to her own devices! 🙄🐶🐾

It’s great isn’t it! I’m doing the plankety plankathon too🙂

Hope the damage isn’t to bad 🤞

Fortunately for me, but not my poor neighbours, the collapsed brick garden wall is a few houses along. No-one hurt, although it fell over the pavement and into the road, so very lucky. The fence panels, at least five on my last count, are mine and my neighbours...... going to be busy few days!

I love the S&F forum. I wish I'd discovered it sooner.

The yoga today was just what I needed to take my mind off the destruction unravelling outside!

Sounds nasty, we’ve had trees down locally and a trampoline was found in the middle of a road a few miles away 😱 now returned to its owner, apparently 😆

I’ve been on s&f for years, just never really done any of it 🙄🤣 loving the planking though( who’d have thought!) tempted to look at the yoga but I’m as far from flexible as you could possibly get.

I was grannying this weekend and did 16456 steps on Saturday. Could hardly move next day! Wanted to do my run today but Ciara arrived and tore down my pergolas, tossed around my garden furniture and pots. Thank you for posting will nosey around S&F forum. Looks interesting.

Sounds like you and I will both have a busy day in the garden today! I think my run will have to wait to tomorrow 🙄.

S&F is definitely worth a look. There’s more to it than I mentioned in my post so I still have some discoveries to make 😊.

Sounds like a very valid reason not to run!

But, you've still managed to make a positive out of it. Good for you.
