Is anyone else combining the C25K with the NHS Strength and Flex programme? I am finding it a good combination but am prioritising the 3 runs with C25K and just doing the Strength and Flex 1-2 times weekly.

I believe it is very popular. I struggled to get on board with it myself.. I couldn't understand how I'd be near a necessary fence or bench or tree etc to do the necessary exercise at the right time.

Yes timing is critical regarding this but I tend to find myself adapting the programme slightly if I'm not near said bench and then catching myself back up again. The speed of the podcast is quite steady so allows for this.

I started it while my yoga class was on a summer break - but it didn't stick for me! However, I occasionally find myself doing a set of wall push-ups and pull-ups (I use the door frame where Laura tells you to hold on to railings) indoors. Also squats (see Rignold

's 30-day challenge). Usually do this while I am keeping my cat company (he likes company when eating).
