Well no way...

... am I running in Ciara 🌬 πŸ’¨ I opened my window to assess it just ripped the window from my hand 😱

I’m going to look for a pilates workout on YouTube.

Interested to see how others fare today. Stay safe if you do get out there!

This morning would not be a good day for running at all, just stay at home and watch/take part in some YouTube videos. If you are taking the dog out, make the walk short and sweet.

in reply to AlMorr

And ask, β€œwhose dog 🐢 am I walking?” πŸ˜‚

Not necessarily your own if you have a dog, just anyone who has a dog.

I agree. I’m just having a giggle because it read like a recommendation for me ;)

My cats are currently reproaching me for ruining the weather. 😾😾

Love dogs but fortunately (today) I have no dog walking responsibilities!

Good plan to avoid running in these conditions. And an extra day of rest will do no harm whatsoever.

I'm with you. I don't mind running in the rain, but I hate the wind.

Sunday is my swimming day though, just done 50 lengths. πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ 😊

Our pool is outdoors so I’m giving that a miss too! I’ve done the pilates workout. Wow that was hard.

Good for you. πŸ‘

I'm lucky because we have a lido and an indoor pool. I love the lido but not until Easter. They have a cold water swimming club but it's not for me. πŸ₯Ά

50 lenghts is amazing. Once I can do the 30 mins running I will start swimming as well.

Is the an equivalent couch to 5k for swimming do you know?

Sorry, I'm not sure on that one. I've been swimming all my life and enjoy going into my own headspace (bit of a theme with my running, I've just realised).

I swim in my local council pool and they do adult lessons for technique. They also have a swimtag system so you can record your swims. I don't use either though, so not much help. I get in, plough up and down, get out, shower, go home for breakfast and get on with my day.

Swimming is a fantastic compliment to running. No matter how stiff you are when you get in, you come out feeling like you've had a massage. I recommend it.

Just done 45 minutes on a bike indoors I might had blowing a gale out there 😑
