My hubby is sick and decided to take the day off. I was so worried about disturbing him (and not being here if he needed anything) that I didn't go for my run. I'm looking out the window and kicking myself! I have TRX tonight which I will go to and I hope it's a beautiful day tomorrow for my first run of W8

Why do I let everything get in the way of running

Sometimes things do get in the way. Don't get too down about it. Carry on when you get the chance.
Bless, life gets in the way. I have a sick child at home. My husband said he would try to get home before dark, so I am gearing my whole day to being dressed and ready to go when he gets home.

I have started to relax about this. After 2 years I have realised that I will actually keeping getting out there when I can and that I mostly have reasons I've not made it out for a run rather than excuses. At the moment I seem to be down to a once a week run but it is longer. A while ago I was getting out more often but somehow couldn't persuade myself to do more than 30 minutes. The quests here help keep me focused on achieving what I want to achieve overall - as C25K did in the first place. I have enough examples in my family of people whose lives revolve around running/keeping fit and the impact that has to know that is not a situation I wish to find myself in.
You will get there - have no doubt about that. Life does get in the way at times but just get out there when you can. Best wishes.
