Yesterday I was all ready in my running stuff and ended up not going cos i faffed about and ran out of time. had to get changed and go out. Sooooo...today I got up and thought"I dont want to go ...this is hard." I battled with myself to get out the door. and guess what. the two factors which got me out were1]you guys...how could I face you if i didn't for no good reason. and 2] Laura. She always tells me 'You can definitely do this.' these are the two factors which got me out and nce outside the DOOR...before i'd even started ...i felt relief and so glad to be out. every time I was finding it difficult i said out loud You CAN DO THIS. It worked. i ran for 26 mins ...lost connection with Laura so carried on on my own and guess what ....i smashed it and ran the 28 minutes. yes...I have won over my first mega nega!!

Fantastic!! Really well done for overcoming those gremlins.

100% with you on these guys being a motivator. I used to post every run to make myself accountable. Helped get me out of the door a few times.

That's it. You're into your final week now. How exciting!

Keep posting. Great work!

Well done! It is all in the mind! I had some wobbles in week 8, with a couple of really tough runs, but this us so much about determination more than anything else!

🎉👏🏼🎉 Well done. Nearly at the end. Glad you beat those Gremlins. I have to put my gear on as I get out of bed some mornings - then it’s too shaming to take it off without running, so I always go. 😄 Roll on Week 9!

I do that. It really works. I've only not got out 2 X and once was the weather -a real squall- and luckily I got out the next day. The other I just ran out of time faffing. A lesson.
