Well that was hard! Will repeat this one until I feel a bit more comfortable, as I start to tire I start puffing and panting. But when I started w1 I was puffing from the start so making progress!

Is this the right thing to do, to repeat the runs until it feels easier?

Thank you!

Well done for starting week 5!

I would recommend continuing on the journey unless you really really struggle.

Instead of repeating the run, SLOW DOWN 🤣.

Seriously, if you're getting out of breath and puffing and panting, then you're going much too fast.

Even if you think you're going slow, I guarantee, you can go slower. And it will be a much more comfortable run. :-)

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

I think I start going faster when I start to tire, as I’m ok to start with and concentrate on the speed. Once I tire I just want to get to the end! Ok will try R2 and see how it goes. Thank you.

Haha, I understand wanting to get to the end!

Start off even slower that you do at the moment. That way, it will reduce the chances of you getting that tired towards the end and, you'll have more energy left in the tank at the end. So if you do want to kick up the pace, you can do that without getting out of breath 🙂

Keep going though, you're doing great!

Well done for finishing the run 🏃🏼‍♀️ I would continue to the next run. Slow and steady that’s been my mantra and it’s working for me. Good luck with your next run 😀

There is no problem repeating runs, but maintaining momentum is also important.

If you are puffing and panting, then you need to slow down. If you do that then you may well feel that you do not need to repeat any runs.

This is about duration, not speed.

I concentrate on speed to start with or staying slow, but as I tire I seem to forget. So will work on concentration for the duration. Thank you!

Just keep going through make sure you have plenty of fluids and run slowly. Your aims are to do the runs/walks take it slowly you can do this. The speed and distance will come later. Good luck.

If you've actually completed the week without stopping, I'd push on, but slowly! Entirely up to you though, it's your c25k.
