Hi

Just joined having done week 5 run 3.

I run another App in the background and am covering c4K including the warm up / down.

Anyone else do this and how far you running / walking?

You don't need to bother too much at this time about how far you run or walk, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran πŸƒπŸΎ 😊

Don't worry about distance, it's time spent running that matters. Most people graduate without ever running 5k. It still takes me 34 minutes on a good day.

That's a wonderful distance at this time! Like the others said - c25k is really about duration and not distance.

Sounds like a great distance πŸ˜€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ but I wouldn't worry too much at this stage as your distance massively increases as you go through the weeks. You are aiming just now for running 30mins non stop by w9. Happy running

That's a very respectable distance Stellarun. You can easily cover 1K in both the warm up/cool down 10 minutes of walking, so c3K in 20 minutes is really good at week 5. Just don't push it too much, let the programme do the work for you in conditioning your body to eventually running for those 30 mins.

I know what it's like though, I'm far too obsessive about my running stats (and still am!)

Hi as others, have said don't worry about distance for now. I got in a pickle with so many apps talking and not talking. Just stick to one until you do the 30 minute run. Then work on distance / speed. Have fun. πŸ‘€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
