So I’ve just signed up for the race for life 5k in May (Glasgow). Now I’ve done c25k a million times and I always end up dropping away. Last time I got to week 3, a personal best 😂. So I have approximately 14 weeks to train. I’ve kept up treadmill running and can do between 3 and 5 solid minutes ( I usually run a song and walk a song but sometimes I pluck up the courage to run two songs and I manage ok). Would I be better off picking up from where I left off in week 3 or pushing myself as I have been. I know I’m gonna have to switch to outdoor running aswell so I’m hoping to pluck up the courage for the last few weeks of training. Any advice would also be greatly received!
Thanks for reading ❤️🏃♀️

Hey Hjy. Great stuff signing up for race for Life. Follow c25k and you'll smash it in May! Start from the beginning and relax. Enjoy how easy those first couple of weeks are. Then stick to the plan. One or two rest days between each run are compulsory to avoid injury and stop you from being derailed. Keep posting on here after every run for motivation and advice. Then tell us how you smashed your race for Life. I'm gonna follow you do make sure you stay on track and keep posting! 🙂 Good luck and enjoy your running
