Had to drag myself out for this. No joints wanted to move. Warming up like the Woodentop’s dog. Not that anyone remembers that now. Thought it would be an epic fail.
Went ok. Started gently and 5 minute jogs managed. Sometimes it’s worth dragging yourself out!
Have a great weekend and enjoy your Park Runs! 🙂🏃🏼♀️🏃🏻♂️🐕

Have a good run. Looks like the the best time for weather 🙂
I don't quite remember 'The Wooden Tops' but I do remember 'Chorlton and the Wheelies'
- with the scary witch (yes, I hid behind a cushion!)........
I digress.....
Well done on your run. We last chatted about our knees - how are yours holding up?
I'm due to run my version of this run (W4R1/3🍀) tomorrow. It's going to have to be an early run for me if I'm going to get it in before doing mum-taxi to Sunday morning rugby training and before the next big weather front hits.....
I'm looking forward to getting back into the longer runs.
Hi, Dolly-Dot! Well, knee is no better or worse- and I’ll take that for now. I’m using a support thing. Think it’s helping. Still clicking away like a suit of armour. But no swelling.
I’m not doing enough strengthening exercises.
Good luck with the weather tomorrow 😳sure early will be good.
Ah those mums taxi days... I admire you for finding time to run! Have a great weekend 👍
Ooh, it hurts even thinking about moving like that Woodentops dog (but always worth remembering the Woodentops if sliding into a bit of a 'modern life is rubbish' mood)
Well done on dragging yourself out there! Bet you’re glad you did now! Regrettably I do remember the Woodentops - though wouldn’t dare own up to it in public!!
I used to love the wooden tops dog. My brother and I would spend ages on trampolines pretend to do his walk. 😁 Yet now those stiff limbs come for free. Glad you got out there, though. 👍🐕
Thanks, I was chuckling to myself. I didn’t have a trampoline! I used to jump up and down on the beds. Narrowly missing the old beams. Sometimes don’t know how I survived ...
