Struggled going out today. First time in daylight๐ run went well, bit slower than usual I felt but ok and now the tops of my legs are killing me!

Well done.
If you struggle then just slow down.
Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.
Well done for getting another run done, and in daylight too, I'm not brave enough to do that! Slowing down is I think the answer to nearly all C25K problems. I'm into motorsport and have a 'T' shirt bearing the legend "The older I get, the faster I was!" I think for C25K runners we should maybe have one that says "The more weeks I do, the slower I run!" As IT has suggested, it's important to stretch your muscles whilst they are still warm after your runs. I do mine in the kitchen as soon as I get into home afterwards (I run directly from home). Another advantage of doing it there is that no-ne (apart from the dog if he's up) sees me doing it!

Good for you for getting out there. Ignore your speed and concentrate on the length of time you spend running. You're doing a lot better than those who are still on the couch!

You may need to slow down a little. It's not easy.
Slowing down was the hardest lesson for me to learn!
You did it though, well done. Keep it up!
