i’m a little bit surprised to see that tomorrow’s run, is 20 minutes of running? I had a look at the week six run one, and that is back to something like eight minutes of running, is that correct? I thought if anything my runtimes would be going up ?

WK5R3 confuses!

It's a while back for me but I think if you look, the total time spent running in week 6 will be what is increasing, Many people find this return to intervals quite hard after the uninterrupted bliss(!) and success of Week 5's 20 min run! I remember hating week 6 mentally and was glad to get back to the ever increasing runs. Stick with it though and trust the programme - it will all come together in the end! Good luck!

I think this post may help put it all into perspective healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Yes, it’s correct and all part of the cunning plan 😆
The first run of W6 can catch some people out though, so take it slowly. Good luck with W5R3, I’m sure you’ll be fine 👍😁

Just be careful with runs 1 and 2 of week 6, run 3 is back to running non stop, but first of all good luck for run 3 of week 5. 🏃🏾 👍

W6R1 is NOT 8 minutes of running... it's 18! So only a little bit shorter than W5R3 ...
Week6 builds on everything you've done so far and and W6R2 sees the last time that you'll have a walking break.... and then it's continuous running all the way to W9R3
