So today I got back to it after a 2 week break. I arrived at the gym late because of the usual chaos on the M6 getting home.
Still not feeling 100% so decided that I would just see how far I got - a practice run. Started nice and steady and then one of the gym instructors came up and we started chatting about local running clubs.
Out of politeness I took out my headphones and I missed Sarah telling me to stop and do the cool down walk! Upshot is I’ve run for about 33 minutes (I forgot to set my Fitbit 🤦♀️) It’s the first time I’ve not stuck rigidly to the plan (and not intentional) but I am feeling very pleased with myself and looking forward to Week 9.
Happy running everyone 😊

Well done that’s great. Glad you are feeling a bit better. I have been ill this week. Toothache on antibiotics and feeling rubbish. I’m please to hear that a long run after bring I’ll was possible.
Thanks. I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. It is encouraging to know that the break hasn’t set me back so take care. As I keep saying we’ll get there 🏃♀️😊
