Completed the second run. Went a bit too fast at the start running past a pub, but slowed down later and covered a greater distance. Bit stiff today.
I have though put a couple of pounds on since I have been doing this. Don’t know whether it’s muscle (!) or eating more afterwards. Someone told me to eat more carbs rather than chocolate so I will try that...
Good luck with all your runs. Saw an old friend today who has just graduated from C25K so that has spurred me on.

Regarding diet - carbs is a really unhelpful categorization. Chocolates are carbs, so are apples, bread, doughnuts and broccoli. It's the quality of carbs that you need to look out for. Wholemeal, unprocessed, salt and additive free carbs. Personally, I eat so much plant based carb, I always think I can't possibly lose weight, but since I've been running, I've held off the three stone I lost before I started.
