Oops, got a bit carried away there with my fave song from todayβs run. So, W4 - the sequel, is now completed. Achilles bearing up but still tender. Still doing all the stuff told to do by the physio, and a bit of yoga in between run days. Also doing the obligatory warmup/cool down, and icing after the run.
I was pretty frustrated this week as would have loved to run 3 times, but I must be sensible and follow the advice of the experts π. I worked it out that with 2 runs a week it will take 8 weeks to finish the plan, but hopefully I may get the green light to start doing 3 again soon.
Happy running folks ππ

Doing well Wenderwoo. Listening to your ankle and physio, getting out there and enjoying it. Hooray! Love the singing. Also you are so good doing your in between yoga and exercises. That's the hard bit, I think. Keep up the good work, it's not how long it takes but getting there that matters. Actually, not even getting there, but doing your best.... πββοΈπ€ππͺ
Well done, it must be so hard getting back to it after injury.
I really have to thank Olly Murs for getting me through this week, as well as OutKast, Kesha and all other artists on my running playlist, you made me realise the music really does help me to power through π§π
