So tonight after 2 long days of working I went out for my second week 8 run.
After a couple of minutes the gremlins started to tell me I was too tired and would have to stop and walk.
So I decided to fight them back, was even talking to myself as one point saying come on Jen its only 28 mins, you don't need to stop!
I have read a lot about that little doubt in peoples heads telling us we cant make it!
I have 4 more runs to go and feel so determined to complete this programme and go on to run 3 times a week
I have had many comments from my younger colleagues at work all feeling inspired by what I have achieved so far, yes I am 56 and not run since I was at school.
Yes my distance was slightly less that Wednesday mornings , but I made it and didn't stop till laura told me to.

Well done jenman, you told those gremlins where to go. They sense that you're nearly there and they don't like it! But you know better and graduation is just around the corner.
How I sympathise as have just done W8R2. The gremlins were clever and tried to get at me by making me think it was just too hot to finish. But with the help of my trusty play list ( Gloria Gaynor takes some credit) and by sticking to my route I got there. Am tackling R3 today. Good luck with your next run!
