Painful glute

Never run before usually do gym. Did 1st run day 2 days ago and had pain in right glute so stretched and rested. Tried 2nd run today but had to quit half way. Glute too sore even walking. Back to resting and stretching, running on hold.Any advice?

I stained my glutes a while back. Research told me various exercises, but I found bridges helped the most.

Do them as part of exercising so maybe add a few more. Thanks 👍🏻

My physio suggest going backwards slowly on the treadmill...worked for me...although you might get some strange looks at the gym ☺️
