Just realised I didn't post up my run from yesterday.
I completed the as programmed 20 (but MAY have been 25 :D) minute slow run with no issues from my ankle, which I am very happy about.
I did a 20 minute hill walk this morning on the treadmill as additional exercise.
Even signed Mrs LeeU and myself up to a local gym yesterday (gym induction today) and start with a personal trainer at the end of the month.
I had a good chat with him before Christmas, he's done the London marathon a couple of times and we had a good conversation on my goals, I want to be the Hulk in 10 weeks!
Seriously, the goals are achievable, aid in weight-loss and improve my running, if toning up is a side effect then I'm happy with that.
I'll do a 25 minute slow run tomorrow and see how it goes, if it's like yesterday's then I'll be happy.
Happy running everyone.

Spent way too long thinking I'll do it next week/month/year. I love running, it clears my head and has already helped me lose soo much weight (over 4 stone so far this year).
Now the plan is to take it one step further and start to work on the rest of my body, I've never really been a member of a gym before, except the one at the head office at work which is 180 miles away.
Lol, the difference between now and May when I restarted is quite different, I was planning on doing a side by side picture in May after running for a year.
The look on the PT's face when I told him he had 10 weeks to turn me into the Hulk was funny, how do you tell a prospective client that they have more chance of being voted in a King of England that achieving that!
You're doing great by running and now going to the gym.
I understand what you mean by the difference you see in yourself its amazing. I've lost 3 1/2 stone just one to go , although everyone keeps telling me I don't need to lose anymore.
