Well i did it, started out running. Previous attempts without the app have resulted in splints and not being able to control breathing, after advice here to slow down, thatβs exactly what i did and managed all the running and didnβt die !
I did however have technical issues where the app kept shutting itself / cutting off. I ran and thought it was the longest 60 seconds ever! This happened several times and I actually think I did one more running minute than the app. Anyone else have the issue, it was a bit of a pain keep resetting and trying to remember which one I was on.
Me too first run tonight. For once actually paced myself properly and finished each run without feeling like death was an inevitable end. Well done to us! I'm running next on Thursday π
Just read your bio as nosey. Am too ex smoker (1 year smokefree + 2 stone round the middle) and trying to avoid returning to meds to manage anxiety. Lets hope for positive outcomes all round!
The app is flakey to say the least, so please report back to the developers via your download site, otherwise they will never know.
The guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... has links to the podcasts which are more reliable but you have to endure the musical tastes of a sadist..........it makes you run faster in the hope of finishing it sooner..........so many happy memories.......
