W1R1 Complete! ✅

Hello

Despite downloading the app about a month ago I finally started tonight!

I was able to run 10K a couple of years ago but since then i’ve had a bulged disc in my back and sciatica so it was back to square one for me!

I have never felt so unfit! How can running for 60 seconds be so tiring?! My legs are aching so I dread to think what they’ll be like tomorrow.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello and reading all your posts has really motivated me to complete the 9 weeks!

Happy running 👟😊

Welcome, and well done. You’ll soon be back to 10k, one run at a time. Great job.

Here's hoping your sciatica problem is sufficiently improved/recovered that it doesn't hold you up. Barring that, if you've done 10k before (no matter how long ago), you should know what you are about and I'm sure you will get through this. I've never run or 'trained' for anything before, and I found the gradual build-up through the weeks was really good.

My back problems have disappeared, thankfully!

I liked the gradual build up before so I’m hopeful I can do it again! 🙌🏼😊

I had the exact same problem several years ago. I feel your pain. Well done on your first day. Keep up the good work 👍👍

It's literally crippling isn't it. For me it was 3 months offwork and 4 monthswith a chiropractor. No issues since 👍👍hope you stay pain free.
