Hi
I have just joined this second too, have to put off my first run till Sunday though but it will be good to know how you get on!
Good luck!!
Go Marie! As one of your fellow week 1 newbies good luck! I'm currently seeking out my fave songs to keep me going all the way tomorrow morning. I didn't quite make it first time (Thurs) but gonna push on through tomorrow hopefully x
Good luck ๐๐ผ and welcome! youโre going to love it! Just remember to start slow and then slow down again. Itโs one of the keys to success. Keep posting here, weโll keep cheering you along every step of the way. Be prepared to get addicted ๐
Thankyou
Fantastic, good luck and enjoy yourself! ๐
Do also read through the guide to the programme to get the full benefits from the start! ๐๐ป
Good luck Sammie, I only started two days ago, so with you all the way.
Good luck Sammie, I started yesterday and whilst tough for someone that has never even attempted to run, I've been itching to go again today but refrained as rest days are key. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and can't wait to hear how you get on. Cheering you along all the way x
Hiya. Best decisions you've ever made to get the app & join the forum. Great app & the forum is just full of lovely supportive peeps. Update us on your first run and then sit back and enjoy the applause. ๐
Fantastic, youโve made a positive decision. Trust this fantastic app & brilliant supportive forum. Running will positively impact your life. Enjoy your running journey. At times itโll be difficult but post on this forum & youโll not be alone. Have fun ๐๐
Good luck! Believe in the program, be kind to yourself and take it gently ๐โโ๏ธ๐๐ฝ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐
Good luck and enjoy it: I started a week ago, had a run yesterday and barely did anything today and now itching to get out tomorrow!as others say elsewhere on here it might be tough, but keep going - you can do it! I try and focus on nice things about being outdoors despite all the huffing and puffing, even in the cold winter thereโs something nice to notice eg some birds or a glimmer of sun (if youโre lucky:))
Good luck Iโm sure youโll do great
Good luck. Follow the plan, take your rest days and drink plenty of water. Have fun ๐
Good luck! ๐
Good luck! Starting is the hardest part. ๐
You can do this! It's a fun way of gaining more control over your life. You are amongst well-wishers too!
Good luck. I started on 27th December and struggled to finish the first day but the support on here is so encouraging. Clearly lots of new people this week. ๐
Hello Sammie 1968 youโve already gone through the first hurdle down loading the App. I was where you were last September and last week I ran my first 7k last week - slowly it took an hour! But I did it.
Follow whichever coach you choose to the letter, the programme works if you do that.
Always go slower but donโt stop.
Good luck - you can do it๐
Good luck Sammie and enjoy the journey. You will feel sooo much better in yourself when you start.
I got to week 6 back in October but due to severe sciatica had to stop.
I was gutted because I was really enjoying how running made me feel after.
I'm going to start from the beginning again tomorrow so I'm with you.
Keep posting and enjoy! ๐
Good Luck you can definitely do it.
Iโm doing my second run today. Feeling a bit stiff after the first one but Iโm ready to go.
Good luck!
Good luck, great way to start the year! Only advice is make time and set a schedule and if it seems hard go slower.
Good luck. Let us know how you get on
Good luck ๐
Good luck. The hardest bits are getting out of the door and the first minute of running. The support on here is wonderful. You can do it!
