Newbie!

Hello everyone!

I am in bed now 11.33pm on Sunday evening and tomorrow is going to be THE Monday when I actually start and do what I promise myself to do every Monday. Get fit, eat healthily and get in shape again. Menopause and I’ve gone all to pot. I respond well to encouragement and feel it’s nice to be not on my own in this quest to improve my wellbeing. Happy to help anyone too! 😊

Get some sleep!

Drink a glass of water before going out.

Don't run too fast. The slower the better.

Go out and have fun!

Welcome .. and i can tell you are going to succeed... Just the bit about the encouragement!...

People on here are truly inspirational... I could not have done it without them and you are so lucky finding it before you start... I didn't find it til week 5

Post after every run - that's my piece of advice ...people jump on to support you and message you and without that i would never have done it... and we do have some giggles too...

This may help give you an idea of how slow is required... it helped me 😀👏👏

Well done! I found week one really hard so that is brilliant. You have made an excellent start

You will do it.! Don’t we all make resolutions every week and then fail to keep them. This is different because you’re not alone . The programme is so well set up and the wonderful people on this forum are there with you every step of the way. I completely agree with the take it slow advice and just complete this challenge and it will give you the determination to sort out healthy eating and weight loss. I wish you luck . Go for it !

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

So excited for you to be starting this today! I am on week 6 and whilst I can't wait to be a graduate, I'm also a tiny bit envious that you've still got the whole programme ahead of you. Looking forward to cheering you on through it all!
