Yoga 30 day challenge day 2

Well we’ve never done yoga before, after work there was shopping and although the sun was shining we decided not to run, we shopped, put dinner in the oven and did day 2

Parts of this feel tough but it’s slow and relaxing so i think we will keep going although there are aches in different places

Tomorrow we run because we want to so day 3 might have to wait until Monday, working this weekend

Have fun all and anybody running today well done

I did day 2 also. Find it difficult to go from low lunge and swing my leg right to the front! That's MY ambition 😂 Do feel it loosened me up after my run this morning and I'm glad I did it. I'm not sure I can do it every day but I'll see how it goes. Slowly slowly catchy monkey. I'm going to try and be like you - philosophical about it all!

I haven't even got round to watching the intro video yet... 🙈 I wonder if I can compete the 30 days within 3 months.. 😂

It's good to hear you're finding it relaxing and I guess aching in different places is a good thing... it shows its working your body

Well after 22 days we seem hooked, the first day is the longest today felt really short and dinner was almost done by the end

Fabulous WillowandSola that’ll bring you huge rewards. Have you tried the Yoga Garden at Dial Post? They have restorative yoga on Friday evening that’ll restore your body. I enjoy 2 sessions of Hatha Flow yoga each week which aids my fitness. Good luck with your challenge. 😊👍

No we haven’t tried yoga before, I can’t run much because i have a sore calf so we are doing yoga after work instead but we are finding this challenge interesting and quite hard

What type of yoga are you practicing?

I can’t answer that, we joined the 30 day challenge with Adriene and i have had a look and can’t see where it says what type it is, sorry
