I found a track, away from houses.
I dressed up warm, in fleece and trousers.
Clicked on the app and started my walk....
keeping it brisk and able to talk.
The half time bells were a welcome surprise!
But I'd turned back before then <rolling of eyes>.
The last two runs were just lengths of my street,
But I finished it all, sweaty faced with tired feet.
It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be,
But when I got home I was quite wobbly.
A drink of water later, I enjoyed the post run glow.
I'll bask in that for now, I'll be aching tomorrow.
