I’ve been using a combo of re-doing C25K for intervals, using the “plus” podcasts (speed mostly), random music and bbc podcasts and today a bridge to 10k podcast though I didn’t complete it (clearly not quite ready!). Doing this has basically kept me running... therefore good. I’ve done some shorter runs, but...
1) A few days ago I walked up my nemesis cliff path stairs without having to stop or catch my breath. Fitness target achieved.
2) Today I completed 5km in 36min43sec - the first time I’ve beaten 37min. My principal speed target is 35min and if I’d had the gumption not to take those little 1min walks I might just have made it. But only coz that’s my flattest route!
Mainly... it’s December. I’m still running. Win.
