Didn’t think I could run after a break but yes I can.

Happy Christmas all fellow Couch to 5K’s. and graduates too. I graduated 2 weeks ago but haven’t had the motivation to run since. The longer I put it off, the more afraid I was of not being able to do it. Finally today, I put my trainers on and set off. I told myself I’d just do week 6 run 1 so only have to run for a short while before a walk break Do you know what, I ran through every walk break and managed to run non stop for 30 minutes. It felt amazing. So if you are in a bit of a rut like I was, just put the trainers on and set off. 🙃🙃

Happy Christmas to you Noodle1991, so week 6 run 1 ended up being run 1 of week 9, well done, I hope you enjoy the rest of Christmas Day.

Yes it did but I’d set off aiming for that, I think I would have struggled. Thanks for your encouragement.

That is such good advice, just put your trainers on and get out there, it doesn't matter how long you go for, but just go!! Merry Christmas!

Really well done - so easy to psyche yourself out if it..

Sometimes it works out the best way to think 🤔 about it.

I often think I am not up for it and say to myself just do a short run which is better than nothing - then you usually find yourself getting to that target and thinking I can do more.

Enjoy your next run now you are back in the rhythm!
