DNF?

So today I “completed” week 8 R1 today after a couple weeks of not running due to a cold. Still not fully over it but went out anyway.

So 5 mins into the run had to stop and walk as there was such a heavy headwind and my nose was tripping me up and I couldn’t breath. Thought about giving up but instead I turned around I did most of the rest of the run with the wind behind me. So that little stop was about 90secs, then I ran the rest of the time plus about 60secs extra at the end. Is that enough to say I completed this run or do I need to repeat it?

I think you can call that one done, the next one hopefully it won’t be so windy and you can run a steady run all the way

You can call that run done. I hope you feel better for your next run. 🎅🎅

I would take it as done. Even after graduation there are odd times when I have to walk for minute or two before continuing. Every run is not a good run. Good and bad days, just accept that and keep running.
