Dog and I were plodding along the ‘out on the edge of the country’ stretch of our post work run and we saw a really bright shooting star streaking across the black sky! Couldn’t believe it! Haven’t seen one for years! Can this running lark get any better?

You saw a meteor or shooting star, in ancient civilizations this was a sign of good luck, good luck to you for your runs.

In ancient civilizations seeing a comet was considered bad luck, they thought that the 'demons' who sent the comets would destroy the earth, that's why as recently as the middle ages seeing a comet was thought to be unlucky, luckily there are no comets around at the moment.

You wouldn't see that on a treadmill 😍

Think I’d be seeing stars as I’d likely fall off the end! There’s quite a knack to treadmill running🤣

Unless the treadmill in the gym was right next to the window 😀

Read the following link AND if your sighting meets the requirements --- REPORT IT!!!

amsmeteors.org/fireballs/

Wife and I were out walking 4AM some years ago and had a FIREBALL pass almost directly overhead. Reported it AND so did other EAST COAST residents.

Really cool seeing our name in log.
