Dog and I were plodding along the ‘out on the edge of the country’ stretch of our post work run and we saw a really bright shooting star streaking across the black sky! Couldn’t believe it! Haven’t seen one for years! Can this running lark get any better?

You saw a meteor or shooting star, in ancient civilizations this was a sign of good luck, good luck to you for your runs.

In ancient civilizations seeing a comet was considered bad luck, they thought that the 'demons' who sent the comets would destroy the earth, that's why as recently as the middle ages seeing a comet was thought to be unlucky, luckily there are no comets around at the moment.

Think I’d be seeing stars as I’d likely fall off the end! There’s quite a knack to treadmill running🤣

Wife and I were out walking 4AM some years ago and had a FIREBALL pass almost directly overhead. Reported it AND so did other EAST COAST residents.
