So, beautifully bright in Glasgow this morning and I was really looking forward to my first run in over a week. By the time I drove home 30 miles south it wasn't so bright and spitting with rain. W8R3. I tried not to think about time and just kept putting one foot in front of the other. Thankfully I had my podcast to distract me. I ran for 4.2k (not including my warm up & down) I have no idea if I'm on track but I do know that I want to feel better than that at the end of my W9R3. I really don't know why I found that so difficult - is it because I left it too long since my last run? 🤷♀️ I seriously think I need to run a new route - just got to think of one that will spur me on.

A CHANGE IS AS GOOD AS A REST....
It's been a nice day in the Glasgow area today 59er, I had Christmas Dinner at the lounge bar I regularly go to on a Tuesday, so no running for me today, glad you enjoyed run 3 of week 8, nice distance of 4.2K you ran.
Onto the final week of C25K, you will feel much better when you run, run 3 of week 9 and graduate than you did today, good luck for your graduation run 🏃🏾 😊.
When was your last run. I know I had a week of in July and the first run back felt tough after that it was okay.
Definitely try some new routes it keeps the running interesting 😊😊
You're doing great through the winter months. I found week 8 got a bit stale doing the same route and chose to run 5 different routes for my last 5 runs of c25k. You are so busy looking around and working out where to go you forget about time. 4.2km is great, nothing says you have to reach a particular distance by the end of the plan, just run 30mins. Happy running
Definitely getting stale for me too. I'll run again in a couple of days time somewhere different. Hopefully that'll sort me out!
