Very hot, humid and muggy this morning as I did 6.1. It was a bit harder than 5.3 but not much and I did it with no problems other than a lot more sweat and a persistently runny nose (sorry ๐ฉ) Iโm past the half way point now and have up to this morning lost 2.5 kg or 5.5 lbs which is great and really sustainable. If I carry on doing what Iโm doing Iโll be at my first goal in under a year (Another 14kg, 30 lbs) more importantly I feel fantastic, my body shape is changing and my regular clothes are getting loose, I have tried some old clothes on and It wonโt be long before Iโm wearing them again ๐ I leave on my holiday in just over a week and am pretty confident now I will be able to carry on running right through with maybe a couple of delays but either way I will be graduating in Late January, seriously looking forward to that ๐
6.1 past the half way point ๐: Very hot, humid... - Couch to 5K
6.1 past the half way point ๐
Very hot and humid , I would normally say lucky you. But i remember running in our summertime and that weather can be a bit energy zapping.
Enjoy fitting in to your smaller clothes and enjoy your holiday ๐๐
Well done Rig, slightly jealous of the weather youโre having . Hope you enjoy shopping for new clothes I usually hate shopping but been able to buy smaller- priceless!! You should be so proud of yourself yay go Rig!!๐
I have a wardrobe partially full of great clothes that I'm looking forward to wearing again. Now when they start to need replacing, which they WILL! I'll be celebrating
๐๐ canโt wait for pics!! By the way more pics of the beautiful country youโre in please totally jealous and living vicariously through you ๐
Fantastic. You're really doing such a good job at this and it's so good to hear you're feeling the benefits.
I'm hoping to be able to get into a pair of trousers that I wore when I got married 7 years ago. Only worn them twice! Not there yet, but very, very nearly.
I had to double read your post as I couldnโt understand why youโd used the word โhumidโ!! Forgot you were a bit further away. Humid ainโt the word for today here!! That is so encouraging to notice a change in your shape and clothes. Well done!
well done....i have been swimming while my achilles recover a bit.....so you are now 1 run ahead of me - hope to restart next week, first go will be w6r1 (been burning more calories swimming than running so will see how it goes) fingers crossed
