Having graduated a month or so ago via an indoor thread mill and in prep for a future parkrun. I decided I’d have a go at running outside. First time in a few years.
That was bloody hard. I did manage to run for 28 mins but had to walk up the last hill for 5 mins. I hate hills. It was nearly 5k, about 4.5k I think.
Anyhow it was nice being out and I might try to do that once a week now with two runs in the gym. Maybe increase the incline on the mill.
Anyhow off to enjoy the rest of my Sunday.

I’m full of admiration for anyone who runs on treadmills. Well done for getting outside, especially in winter. So glad you enjoyed your run - with a hill. Now you’ll have the added fun of searching out routes so you don’t end up running circles
Well done running outside is a totally different beast to a treadmill as the weather and the type of ground you run on all play a part in performance keep up the good work
