Well I did it, again I have no Idea why I doubt myself before I start, knee support worked wonders and I feel absolutely amazing right now. Pure Joy πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Don't worry Rigpig, sometimes we can have doubts. But you did it and you should be so pleased. Well done you 😊

Well done! It's very human to doubt ourselves and wonder if we can really achieve something that we haven't done before. Just remember the mantra, "Trust the programme" and you'll keep on surprising yourself!

Hey, well done mate. So, in addition to the (wonderful & general) support from this community, you now have specific supports for your knees! Pleased to hear you've cracked W4R1, I will be trying to do the same thing on Wednesday morning, so hopefully you'll be spurring me on and I'll be pushing you further forward!

It was relatively easy, I actually forgot I was running on my second 5 minute section. My mind was off on its own somewhere and when I realised this it was a really pleasant shock! I doubt myself at the end of each week but it's totally unfounded, slow down and trust the program, that's all we need to know :-)

Mate, you'll be fine. Slow and steady and there's nothing to fear and only satisfaction to gain.

Well deserved buddy. Every run now is a run closer to a new way of life. Buzzing for you.

still a week ahead....and still have a touch of tendonitis :-( i currently figure running and getting fitter is worth a bit of soreness! That plus i can’t have you catching me up! w5r2 in the morning......think i will do r3 on thursday then have a 3 day break.

My left knee seems to have got it's act together and hardened up! my right knee is still a bit sore but not at all when running while wearing the support. It's just coming up on lunchtime here and I ran at 5:15 this morning, my knee is a bit tender now but I'm really not that concerned, rest day tomorrow then off we go again :-)
