So it's been a long time since I've been on this forum. I think the last time I posted on here I mentioned I had an injury. Well the injury persisted and I had to stop running and all other impact sports.
I am now two weeks post surgery after being diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans in my left knee. This was diagnosed way back in April after lots of xrays, ct scans then an MRI. It progressively worsened so in the end the best option was surgery.
Has anyone had this condition diagnosed aged mid 40s and been able to go back running? - its normally diagnosed in younger men who seem to be able to get back on track (excuse the pun!!!)
Missing running immensely and I was only two runs away from completing the Couch2FiveK.....
