Got back from Dubai and will just remain on that time for a few days.π΄
Looking to see if I can do anything with the 200 & 400 in the final days of the November Speed Challenge.
Maybe beginning to pull away from the virusβs and get back in my own little box for at least a few weeks until Xmas commitments arrive.
I guess I should try and lighten up, at least I have phase one C25k β and phase two consolidation and bridge to 10k during Jan/ Feb/ Mar.
Perhaps got some issues to get sorted with GP/ Physio, if shoulder pain persists.
So just got to keep on keeping on, refocus and keep enjoying the gift.
I am finding, even with hiccups/ set backs I am more aware where I am at physically. On the Couch you have just no clue or understanding where your at.ππ€£
That is a really lovely photo of you and your family Tbae, Dubai is 4 hours ahead in time of us, so keeping to Dubai time might be interesting.
Of course, the big difference is the temperature, from 30C to 39F here in the UK is quite a contrast in temperature.
Good luck for your 200 and 400 November speed challenge, yes, you will be looking forward to Christmas with your grandchildren.
As for me, I'll be running my 12th parkrun at Drumpellier Park, Coatbridge tomorrow, the weather will be dry but it's to be -4C/25F, so I will be well wrapped up. Keep well
I will report back to you tomorrow about my parkrun, but this morning as its a beautiful day but cold - 1C, I went on a 5 kilometer WALK using Mapmywalk, excellent time at 47.19, all the 1 Kilometre splits were under 10 minutes, the fastest being 9.09 and three at 9.26, I 'burned' 278 calories with 6052 steps, a good brisk walk on a lovely frosty morning. π
Just noticed that the temperature was - 3.4C at 9am, not - 1, anyway, the cycling could help with my walking and even runs, I don't cycle during the months from November to the end of March, however, I go long walks and I still continue to run.
Welcome back Looking forward to watching this last week's progress and to our meet up in 2020
Hope the shoulder does get sorted soon... and that you have got over that virus...the frost here should do the trick! We used to love a cold snap when we had various nasty little bugs going around the children in our classes!
