Brilliant. What an achievement!! I'm just starting out so its lovely to see someone whose got there. Well done.
Congratulations.... well done you. Consolidation now.. plenty of 30 minutes, some shorter speedier runs, new routes and.... the lovely longer see where you get to runs. They are the ones that build every single thing...stamina, strength, distance and... yes...speed.
Take it from the Original Grey Snail...Now, speedy snail
Congratulations!
Well done, what an achievement, the world is your oyster now x
Congratulations! Fantastic achievement πΎ
Congratulations! Well done you π
Congratulations! No better feeling
Well done you! 10/10 for sticking with it. Now go and read the FAQ POSTS - C25K What next? Loads of good advice there. Keep running for thirty minutes while your body gets used to it. Consolidation! Then decide where to go from there.
I enjoy running to the free app RockMyRun. It lets me map my runs, records time, distance, step/minute, calories burned etc., and lets me choose from a wide range of gap free music. I choose Rock Legends, you may prefer 70s/80s or even 150/160 etc beats per minute. They are all there. No gaps!
There are NHS Stepping Stones podcasts, with Laura chatting to you. These appear to be like marmite. I enjoyed them at your stage. But one is only 16 minutes. I played it twice to get back home. These are for endurance, speed etc. See what you think. But...
Just enjoy running.
Thank you I will check it out. Do you know if thereβs an NHS app for 10K?
You'll find loads more running stuff with great forums too, just like this one. Answer is in FAQ POSTS.
Search C25KWHAT NEXT?
Bridge to 10K is one clue.
Read all the titles there, very carefully!
Meanwhile keep repeating w9 as consolidation. Different route perhaps?, same route other way round ? Just get used to being a competent runner. THEN very slowly add more, just as you have over past 9 weeks.
Look up your local ParkRun?
A slow or fast 5K. You will never come in last. Sign up one saturday as a volunteer and enjoy the buzz.
Enjoy your running.
Congratulations!!!ππ€£ππ€π!! You're a star! You've been just a little bit ahead of me all the way and it's great to see you achieving it.
Brilliant! Hope to join you soon.
Great work. Congratulations!
I'm a few weeks behind but hope to complete either just before or just after Christmas. Like you I have never been a runner but now find at the age 49 I'm really enjoying it and feel determined as my first goal is to run 5K non stop. I'm sure that will be way outside of 30 minutes running but I'm determined to get there. You never know I might even enter some race events in the future.
Keep running. πββοΈ
Congratulations!!!
