Oh god I’m having a moment where I’m wondering why I’m doing this. I think it’s because I’m so busy this week that I feel like I haven’t got the time. I’m due to do week 5 run 2 and feel like not doing it! πŸ˜”

I can’t do it until 4pm so will just get those running shoes on, right?!!!

Yes, you can. Just tell yourself that because it is true... I am (only) on week 8 so I know that feeling of "incompetence"!!. The worst thing is to go outside... once you are in the street just let you go and you will be running. The program works so you will be running and succeding !! Let us know how it worked

I have been religious with it all but I just feel so tired today. I am going to either get up before work and do this is the morning or as soon As I get home from work. It’s now become a conscious decision as opposed to a cry for help and thanks for the support you lovely people. I’ll be straight on here as soon as I’ve done it x

Thanks for that. I’ve done quite a few of the runs when I’ve been tired and have always felt better for it. However this feels different and so I’m going to have a rest this evening and get this done tomorrow xx

No worries. There's always tomorrow. I've had lots of times when I've had to give myself a good talking to to get out of the house, but I've never got back without being glad I went. Try to bottle that feeling.

Good luck tomorrow πŸ‘

You're doing it because you deserve to, because of the mental and physical benefits and also so you can inspire others like me to keep going. Being busy and commitments as well as down days will always be there, but nothing beats the feeling of being out there and doing it and the satisfaction after. Keep on keeping on! You can't pour from an empty cup. Take time for you to do this session and the ones that follow for you. So many positives await you...

Tough call. I've had a couple or more days when I've really not wanted to go out. But I've got my stuff on and just done it.

However, you know you're own body. If your body is screaming 'no' at you, then maybe you need to listen and take another rest day.

But, dont stress about it. Just remember why you're doing it in the first place, the long term health benefits / quality of life, and your mojo will return after a bit more rest.

You're doing this and you are succeeding. You just need to regroup and go again.

Graduation can still be a Christmas present :-)

he he ...know the feeling. I had it this morning atch. Half way through! But ion my running days I just get dressed in my running stuff and go out no matter what. I keep my running stuff hanging on the bathroom door. When I have to travel I get up spesh early but wait till its light. Luckily clocks went back just in time to bring daylight forward. But I'm a lark so its first thing or I'll lose it. I haven't missed a day yet. Postponed one due to a squall...went next day instead.

I've not managed 3 runs a week ...usually 2....but anything is better than nothing...just makes an extended plan

Don't be afraid to take a day off if you are to tired, it happens to us all.

It's not a bad thing to take an extra rest day every so often, it gives your body more time to recover fully.
