Didn't go out yesterday, I don't mind running in drizzle but I'll draw the line at a downpour!
Headed out this morning, went to the canal again as it's got a decent tow path and is handy if you just want a long slow run.
Mrs LeeU's asthma started playing up about .75 mile into the run so I dropped her off at a little café on the canal and carried on once I knew she was ok, I did walk the .25 of a mile to the café but stopped the Garmin for this.
I headed off further down the canal, I jogged on for just under a mile and a half, at this point I was busting for a pee and I had to wait for a couple of dog walkers to go out of sight before nipping into the bushes.
I then started heading back to the café to collect Mrs LeeU, I must admit, I was struggling a little, my pace was quicker than I had previously done and no matter what I tried I couldn't get the pace to drop, so I plodded on.
When I was about a minute from the café Mrs LeeU called me to see if I was alright, I told her she'd see me in another minute.
I did 6k, I was short of the 7k target I was going for but that can wait, yes I'm a little disheartened but a run is a run.
Happy running everyone.
