It was freezing this morning and I had a brief window for the run, so decided to do 2x2k at a faster than usual pace rather than a single run. It went ok and I walked for about 1 minute in the middle. Thinking about a park run on Saturday if I have time before getting a train to a weekend away with friends.
My longer term plan is to start pushing out one longer run a week at slower pace, intervals on another day and tempo run similar pace to today (but joined up) for the third. Observing the 10% rule of course
