In the past two weeks I’ve only run twice so this was a struggle but now completed. Shows how the program sets you up to be able to achieve something we all feel is unreachable just a few months previously. I’m not sure why I’ve lost momentum in recent weeks - I’m not as “excited” by the challenge. The freezing temperatures not helping, as well as a poorly husband taken down with the flu. But I’m running for 30 minutes non stop, no idea RE distance. But I’m a runner, and it’s a habit, and I’m not going back to the couch! Keep it up everyone - we are all doing so well just to be trying!
Week 9 run 1: In the past two weeks I’ve only... - Couch to 5K
Week 9 run 1
Sorry about your husband having the flu, hope that clears quickly, congratulations to you on running non stop for 30 minutes on run 1 of week 9 in the freezing weather, it should get milder soon, only two more runs until you graduate, good luck.
I think you're doing great, just re-read perfectly understandable reasons for lack of enthusiasm. At w8 I found trying out new routes for each remaining run gave me the boost to get to graduating without getting bored. Good luck
Great job! I was a bit discouraged in week 8 and worried that I will need to force myself to do week 9 but... the excitement came back after W9R1! So fingers crossed that your running spark will get stronger! 😁 You are almost there!
Keep going, only 2 to go!
Love that last bit - doing so well just to be trying. Well done
