So Monday morning after a nice, much needed weekend of rest, I started up the app.... Run for 3minutes??!!

I was extremely interested to see if my body was ready for that jump.

As usual to begin with I was relatively comfortable. I made sure I started out slowly and it went pretty well, until that last run again, oh my life that was a struggle. Ignoring the screams from my legs to stop running and trying to concentrate on getting more air into my gasping lungs. The music quietened and I faintly heard, "you've done two minutes."

"Are you kidding me, another minute to go?" I thought to myself, but at the same time I dug in. The ache in my legs was overtaken by my need for air, just concentrate on breathing, getting air in and blowing out hard and just at the right moment, the last three minutes was up. I'd done it

Really well done. It's always a nice surprise you realise you can manage those jumps in duration.

Sounds like you might need to slow down a bit for future weeks though. Take it easy.

well done you ! i start my big deep breathing at warm-up,

kinda stocking up on oxygen haha, seems to work for me.

Well done, that is awesome.

If you are struggling then slow down (take a look at Japanese slow running) the slower you start the further you will be able to carry on with a steady pace.

Well done! It's the worst hearing the last prompt and thinking you're done and realising that, no, you have more to go!
