Autumn Mists

Quite a few photos this morning of Autumn mists, I went for a 11 Kilometers walk and took this photo

The sun did break through within 15 minutes of the photo being taken

The walk was a little bit of a experiment Buddy34, I certainly did enjoy it, I wanted to know how far walking west towards Glasgow 5K was, I had Mapmywalk with me, I thought it would take be to Mollinsburn, in fact, 5K from where I live is just 200 yards short of Moodiesburn.

On the way back I took a slightly longer way which included quite a steep hill where at the top I took that photograph, the mist cleared completely before I got home, according to Mapmywalk it was exactly 10.96K distance with 13,802 steps.

Yesterday afternoon I reran run 3 of week 6 of C25K just to keep my running legs in order, two of the highlights of that run was at a small steep hill there were 4. thirteen year old boys with bikes walking up that hill, I had to quicken up a little to pass them, they were very polite and I thanked them for letting me pass, they replied '.your welcome' nice of them, the other highlight was after I had just finished the run, I had music with me, the tune "Speedy Gonzalis" came on, not sure if that applies to me regarding yesterday's run, I probably ran about 4K.🏃🏾😊

There is a slight halo shadow of me in the mist, it's what they call a Brocken Spectre, where the shadow of the person is opposite the sun's direction causes a 😇 halo in the mist, all that cleared within 15 minutes of the photo being taken.

It’s stunning I zoomed in a bit and think i see what you mean, a little spooky but spectacular at the same time, mist is peaceful

Within 15 minutes of the photo being taken the mist was all gone and the sun ☀ was shining brightly. 😊
